What is Connecting Through Sport?

Connecting Through Sport is a free 4-week program helping connect migrants, refugees and international students to the community.

What is AFL?

AFL (Australian Football League) is the Australian version of football that has been around for over 150 years! AFL is the most attended sport in Australia and combines some of the skills seen in basketball, football (soccer) and rugby.

What will the program involve?

The free 4-week program will teach the basic skills of Australian Football and help you to understand the rules of the game. It is non-contact and is perfect for anyone interested in learning a new sport and getting involved in Australian culture.

Meet in the Students’ Lounge at 1:15pm. We will walk down to Roma St. Parklands together. 

The session will run from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. It will be run by AFLQ coaches.
