(with special guest Kunie Yoshimoto)
Learn why it is important to start repairing and give a new life to our old/unused clothes. Learn basic repairing skills and check what’s possible when you start the journey of doing your own clothes. The session will be led by Ninna Martinez-Astroza and will include a conversation about what’s possible with Kunie Yoshimoto. Kunie is Japanese and has lived in Australia for 22 years with her family. Her partner and children are a study case in Retrosuburbia book, the permaculture bible, because they built a super-efficient house, under permaculture design and have been living ethically for 15 years. Kunie is a great knitter; she has participated in different arts and craft events and is passionate about fabrics and reclaiming materials for fashion.
