(with special guest Mariam Issa)
Sustainable humans need to find purpose. Everyone has a gift to share with humanity. During this session, our guest presenter Ninna Martinez-Astroza will help students get more connected with themselves and use their skills for their “calling” in society. This session will include a masterclass with Mariam Issa, a life coach, author, educator, permaculturist and community builder. Mariam is originally from Somalia and arrived as a refugee in Australia 25 years ago and she has been an activist for human rights, migrants’ rights, and women empowerment. Mariam opened her house as a community garden, to create a safe space where women can share their stories, support each other, and thrive together, connected with nature and gardening.
