First Day of Classes at Greystone College Australia

Your first day of classes will always be the Monday of your Start Date, but your Lecture may be on a different day, depending on your Schedule.

Support Classes and Lectures

In Australia, classes are divided into Support Classes and Lectures. See your timetable in the myGreystone app to see times for each class. Please note, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide follow Daylight Savings Time but Brisbane and Perth do not, and so there may be changes to the class times.

The Moodle Platform

Moodle is your Learning Platform and you will find all the materials, assessments, timetable and grades information there. Go to the Moodle page to watch a video about using Moodle for your studies. Log into Moodle using your ilsceducation.com credentials and password.

Your Schedule

Studying in Greystone College Australia, you may have Lectures on Mon & Tues, or Wed & Thurs, or Fri & Sat. Weekdays are from 1:15-9:00, Saturday is 9:00-4:45 (this is AEST so please check your timetable in Moodle or in the myGreystone app carefully for the time specific to your city). Go to the Greystone Australia Schedule section for a detailed outline of your timetable.

Online and On Campus

All Lectures and some support classes are run through MS Teams. We recommend strongly to access through a laptop, not a mobile phone, for best experience.

All students must download the Teams app for easy communication with their trainers and to join their online classes.

Support classes can be accessed online or on campus, depending on the time or day. Check your myGreystone app timetable or see the Schedule section.

Your First Day

Go to the Calendar tab in the Teams app and find the Class Link. Click Join to enter the class. You are expected to keep your camera on and have a functioning microphone/headset so that you can participate actively.

During your first class, your trainer will give an overview of the unit or subject you are studying, will show you where to find resources and outline the assessment requirements for the session. Don’t forget to ask them any questions you have to help you succeed in your study experience.

Your Session Calendar
