✨ What’s New?

✅ A Simple, Clear Report

We’ve streamlined the Student Progress Report layout so it’s easier to read and understand your progress throughout the session.

📊 More Detailed Progress Tracking

Your progress will now be measured in five areas:

  • Listening (15%)
  • Reading (15%)
  • Writing (30%)
  • Speaking (30%)
  • Learner Performance (10%) 🆕

✅ Learner Performance

A new section called Learner Performance has been added and counts for 10% of your final course grade.

Teachers will consider different areas of Learner Performance when determining your overall grade. These may include:

  • Demonstrated achievement of Course Learning Outcomes and Objectives through classwork, tasks, discussions, presentations, projects, and other communicative and learning activities.
  • Completion and quality of learning tasks undertaken during lessons.
  • Seeking, reflecting on, and applying feedback to improve performance.
  • Engagement with learning opportunities and collaborative tasks throughout the session.
  • Use of the target language during learning activities and peer interactions (with reasonable use of translanguaging where helpful and appropriate).

This gives you more opportunities to demonstrate your learning beyond formal assessments.

📈 How Does Progression Work?

The progression rules remain the same:

  • B or higher ➡️ Progress to the next level
  • C+ or lower ➡️ Continue at your current level

🎯 Our Goal

These updates are designed to provide clear feedback and recognition of your learning and progress throughout your studies.

We look forward to helping you track and celebrate your learning journey! 🎉
