WHEN WILL MY MICROSOFT 365 ACCOUNT BE READY?

You will receive your login credentials 28 days before your Start Date.

How do I add my ILSCEDUCATION.COM email inbox to my phone/tablet/laptop mail app

Download the Outlook app or use your current mail app. Select ‘Add Account’ and input your ilsceducation.com email address. When asked which type of email (provider), choose Office 365 and follow the steps to sign in and authenticate. 

How can I install the app if my Android device doesn’t have Google Play Store?

The best way to get the latest version of our apps for Android is from the Google Play Store. If you cannot access the store, you can download the Android Package Kit (APK) (requires Android 4.0 or above) on your device’s browser (Chrome, Edge, etc).  First, complete your Microsoft 365 Account activation (Step 1 here) then go to the App APKs folder and choose the app you want to download – myILSC or myGreystone. Install on your phone/tablet by following the instructions.

Is my data secure at ELS, ILSC and Greystone College?

ILSC Education takes digital security very seriously. Our technology team works hard to protect your data at all times. For example:

Single Sign On to access all our platforms.

Your student number @ilsceducation.com gives you access to Microsoft 365, Moodle, Teams and the school Apps. 

It also helps protect your data when you communicate with the school in any way.

Keep your password secret and do not share your login with anyone.

Strong Password

Your password should be:

minimum 8 characters including

a number (8), a capital letter (M) and a special character ($ % # @ !).

Never use your name, your birthday or your city. 

Why not let your phone/browser suggest a strong password?

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Get a code on your phone to verify your identify, just like your bank.

At the moment, ILSC Education does not enforce MFA for students, but we strongly recommend that you set it up yourself.

HOW DO I SIGN IN TO MICROSOFT 365 AND TEAMS?

First sign in to Microsoft 365 as below.

  1. Go to https://office.com and login using your ILSC Education email address.
  2. Your ILSC Education email address = campus code + student ID number + @ilsceducation.com
  3. Password is Welcome followed by your birthday in the format of year (yyyy), month (mm), and day (dd).
    Example: Welcome19950801
  4. You will have to create a new password and provide a secondary verification method (email or phone).

Next, download the Teams app and use your full username and new password to sign in.

What is Moodle?

Moodle is the learning platform for all Greystone College students. If you are studying English or French, you will not use Moodle.

WHAT IS THE NEW PASSWORD MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS?

Your new password must align with the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters length
  • At least one UPPER case letter
  • At least one number or symbol
  • It must NOT contain your name or last name on it
HOW DO I RESET MY MICROSOFT 365 PASSWORD?

Click on the ‘Forgot my password’ link on the login page and follow the prompts to recover your password using your secondary email address.

WHERE CAN I GET TECH SUPPORT?

Contact your campus reception or your student advisor or use the Contact Tech Support link for Digital Access Activation problems.

HOW LONG WILL MY ACCOUNT REMAIN ACTIVE?

Your account will remain active for 30 days after your ELS, ILSC or GC program have been completed. Ensure you have backups of your files after completing your program.

CAN I GET A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS?

No, but if your account shows a typo on your name, please contact your advisor to request a change.

HOW MANY DEVICES CAN I INSTALL OFFICE 365 APPS ON?

Office 365 can be installed on up to five devices. You can install Office 365 across most devices, as licenses are not tethered to the first platform a user activates. Please note that devices that have Office 365 installed on them must connect to the internet at least once every 30 days or the software will enter reduced functionality (i.e. read-only) mode.
