First Day Workshop: English through Poetry (I1-I4)

Come! Join Sonja and ILSC classmates in this IN PERSON workshop at 1205 Melville, room 11!

Among the things we will do: Engage with poetry through reading and analysis- finding meaning/what makes something poetic. Get ready for “If”, by Rudyard Kipling!

  • Poetic devices: – Alliteration/Consonance,  – Rhyme, – Simile and metaphor, – Personification, – Onomatopoeia.

This workshop is intended for students at I1 to I4 levels.
